The Porticool Personal Cooling System (PCS) addresses a critical need for emergency responders in both the Military and Local Government Emergency Response Teams. These individuals’ mission is to safeguard lives and property, and as such must endure extreme and hazardous conditions, while wearing a fully encapsulated Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) suit. Under such circumstances heat fatigue sets in rapidly, jeopardizing the responder and his/her mission. The PCS results in improved performance and extended mission time.
